Frequently asked questions
How many days and what is the itinerary?
It is 14 days with 13 nights. Arrival is through Dubrovnik airport in Croatia, where the team meets the group and provides a transfer to Budva in Montenegro. The loop passes through the Bay of Kotor, the Theth road in Albania, Durmitor, Sarajevo, Plitvice, Lake Bled, the Vršič Pass, Istria, the Dalmatian coast, Mostar, and Dubrovnik, finishing in Budva.
Where do I arrive and depart?
You arrive and depart via Dubrovnik airport, which in summer has flights with only one connection from Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, and Istanbul. The team meets you at the airport and provides a private transfer to Budva, and on the last day, the return journey is made. We advise on the ideal flight times during registration.
Which countries do we cross?
Five: Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia. Borders are crossed as a group, with the guide assisting with documentation, and the rental company provides the motorcycles with authorization and insurance for all these countries.
Which motorcycle will I ride?
The package motorcycle is the BMW F 800 GS, with a top case and side panniers, picked up and returned in Budva. It is lower and suits riders of any height and those with pillions. Those wanting the R 1300 GS or R 1300 GS Adventure, including automatic transmission options, pay an extra R$ 4.500 per bike. The choice is made during registration and upgrade bikes are limited, allocated by registration order. Fuel is included.
Do I need experience to go?
You need a motorcycle license and road travel experience. The average is about 245 km per day, with many mountain ranges, tight curves, and narrow roads in Montenegro, Albania, and the Vršič Pass.
Can I bring a pillion?
Yes. The couple's price is per motorcycle and covers both people in the same room. Large luggage goes in the support van.
What if I go alone?
You choose between a shared room with another solo rider or a single room. If you choose shared and no roommate appears, Adventure Dream pays the single room difference.
Why June?
In June all mountain passes are open, the days are long, the sea is already good for swimming, and it is not yet the peak of July and August on the coast.
Do I need special documents?
A valid passport and a category A driver's license. Also bring an International Driving Permit (IDP). Brazilians do not need visas for these countries. Slovenia and Croatia are part of the Schengen Area, which may require ETIAS electronic authorization; we will notify you when it is time to obtain it.
How does payment work?
A 10% deposit upon registration. The balance can be paid in interest-free installments until the travel date via PIX, bank slip, or credit card. Paying in full via PIX gives a 5% discount.
When do you confirm the trip will happen?
The departure is confirmed with a minimum of 6 motorcycles. If the group does not reach the minimum, you choose between a full refund or applying the amount to another expedition.
